When we have preventive maintenance to do, expenses are divided as follows:
Let’s use an example of a $400 maintenance:
50% of the total will be divided equally among the shareholders. Which means $50 per quota holder.
The other 50% will be divided according to the number of hours used by each shareholder.
Total hours: 200h
Joe 100h $100
Andre 75h $75
Alisson 25h $25
John 0h $0
Total for each quota holder is:
Joe $100 + $50 = $150
Andre $75 + $50 = $125
Alisson $25 + $50 = $75
John $0 + $50 = $50
That’s fair because if you use just a little you pay less, if you use more, you pay more.
We have a management system that organizes all this information and all boat owners have access. If the maintenance is due to misuse, the responsible owner will be charged 100% of the expense.
Everything will be diagnosed by a professional mechanic.
Is not a rental contract. You’re buying the boat. When you decide to sell for wherever reason, you can sell your quota, you decide the price and we can help you on this process.
