Front Runner
From the start, the Front Runner team has worked to raise the bar in what our clients expect in an offshore fishing vessel.
Owners Phillip and Mark began as fishing partners, buying, fixing and selling boats. We used every boat that we bought and improved, and things went well. In 2016, we entered the boating industry launching a small boat dealership in St Augustine. We loved our customers, we really enjoyed helping them get on the water, but there was something more waiting. We wanted to build a better boat, one that would do everything we wanted it to do. Front Runner Boats was born, and we have never looked back. One of the most important aspects of any fine offshore fishing vessel, our hulls were designed for maximum displacement, an extremely smooth ride, and built to withstand everything you throw at it. Designed by Erwin Gerards, we worked to create a unique Proud Bow paired with a stepped hull—offering that classic Florida sportfish feel. Erwin is responsible for some of the most notable hull designs in the industry. Our boats are compatible with all types of modern offshore fishing technology. When we start to design your Front Runner, we build around your preferred technology. There is no technology that we cannot accommodate. We've partnered with the most respectable and reliable brands in marine tech to ensure that our boats have you covered while you're out on the water—letting you focus on the experience. When it comes to power, we only use the best. Front Runner has partnered with Mercury Marine to provide our clients with the most reliable and best-performing power solutions on the market. We offer power configurations for several different models of Mercury Motors in twin, triple, quad, and quint setups.

About Front Runner
Front Runner as defined by Meriam Webster is “a contestant who runs best in the lead.” Indeed, this defines the vision of Front Runner Boats’ founders, two fishing buddies and business partners who saw an opportunity to build the boats they enjoyed, but with their own ideas on how to build them better!
